Types of Wallpapers
Liner Wallpaper
Liner Wallpapers more commonly known as lining paper. It is basically used for hiding defects on the wall. Thus, lining reduces the cost of wall repairs. It also can be used as a base for more intricate and dainty kinds of wallpapers.It can be painted or can be used in a plain form.Liner wallpapers are easy to apply as well as easy to remove.
Printed Wallpaper
This is a commonly used variety of wallpaper. There are two kinds of these namely hand printed and digitally printed wallpaper. The former is much more costly than the later. This product is mass produced and needs to be maintained properly to avoid wear and tear. The water based printing ink variants cannot be used in wet area such as bathrooms and kitchens.

This is a commonly used variety of wallpaper. There are two kinds of these namely hand printed and digitally printed wallpaper. The former is much more costly than the later. Foil Wallpaper
The base of this wallpaper is a metal foil which is polished. This makes the wall paper highly reflective and gives it a shiny metallic effect. As this wall paper is textured with intricate details it has to be placed on walls without any defects. So in order to apply it either defective walls have to be repaired or it can be applied wall using liner wallpaper as a base. It has to be installed delicately so as to not damage the reflective and shiny surface of the wallpaper.
Flock Wallpaper
It consists of printed paper base and a polyester film which is put on top of it. Appearance wise it’s similar to foil wallpaper and has a wet and shiny appearance. This can easily highlight wall defects hence prior paper linning is advised. Due to its polyester covering it can be washed. It is easy to remove. Care must be taken while installing it so that creasing can be avoided. Commonly used in Bathrooms as well as Kitchens.
